The one that got away?????????

Let's face it, we all enjoy golf club technology.......everyone has a little "Club Ho" in them. However, you and I both know there will always be that one that got away. That one club that when you went for it in your bag......you got that feeling.....that intense sensation that one can only describe as love. As you set up to the ball.......you know it's going exactly where you want it to. Some people may have even "laughed" at her.......but when they see how "she" performs......they are all jealous and whiping the slober off their chins. Your back swing is fluid, head steady.........as your body coils, it just feels right.......she's perfectly parallel to the ground now.......as you start your downswing......there's no uneasy feeling.......It's just a sweet fluid motion......as "she" connects with the ball.....its almost undescribable.......and your follow thru is flawless as you hold your pose perfect.......and at that instant.....you feel like a tour player because you did EXACTLY what you set out to do. I had that once.........Kasco VS Tour RS Driver............what about you?????? (Sorry for the dramatic introduction to this thread.......I was a little bored)!!!!

I just recently sold the driver out of my bag to a very loyal customer.. (10.5 geek DCT with Oban Revenge) i have since built myself a new one....altho this time i built a 8.5 Geek DCT with Oban Kyoshi...still miss "my baby", but am learning to love the new one slowly

I had a TM tour ridgie...we were in love but I had just caught the hoing bug....Have u any clue how hard it was to get a tour only ridgie in left wia harmon ftd shaft in the heat of specialized tour clubs????!!! And it was awesome....alas i let IT down with my disease....we were like peanut butter and jelly....

I almost let a tear escape from my right eye when i finish to read your post, i can´t remember a single club, but i remember "THE" iron set that i stupidly sold 3 years ago, mi tittleist DCI 762 with s300 w/sensicore, i was young, happy and i didn't know that, how stupid i was at that time... and the worst part it`s that i sold them for only 200 buck

Got rid of my scotty J.A.T. and now can't even seem to find one at all.

I have two clubs, my Titleist 975D 43.5" DG S-300 and my Mizuno Pro II 2 iron......some how, some way, I never sold my Titleist 975D and it just found it's way back in my bag after 5 years in the garage. The 2 iron, well it has never left my bag since the day I put it in there about 10 years ago. Other clubs have come and gone, but some how the two clubs I have loved the most are still with me and still being played.

I bought a new set of irons and my first round out I threw the 3 iron into a gator infested lake... guess that one got away.

My scotty futura. Sold it to fund a driver purchase and have never putted quite the same since...

Whoa!!! I just realized that I've been out of the golf game for almost 10 years......tie flies when you have a family. Just jumped back on the band wagon this past year and while cruising the forums, I realized that I never opened the responses to this thread.......It's indescribable how I feel at the moment. It almost feels as if I've opened a time capsule.

So with all that being said......thanks for the comments, good stories indeed!! Good to be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
