Wow, beautiful work Joe.....as always. Too bad you're not out in Illinois, we could use a guy like you. Nice wedges.

Get me an investor and I'll train anybody to open one near by you. ;)

I'm in Fresno Ca. and don't have anyone with this kind of knowledge. I've been reading all of the posts about Miura, Scratch etc. I know this equipment is better than stock OEM gear. But, if I'm going to buy hi-end gear I need to be able to spend time with the guy who is going to prepair my gear.

I'm a low handicap player that rely on my wedges, those (Miura) look freakin' awesome! How much for a 56* and a 60*? I've really enjoyed the Rifle shafts, would they be a good choice for the Miura wedges?

It's all depends on how difficult of a grind you need. It would be best If you can come in person and discuss everything to get the right grind and quotation.

Joe

That sounds great...where are you located in the Bay Area. I'm about 2 hours south of that area. I'm playing the Olympic Club in a few weeks, maybe I could come by during that visit? Do I need to set an appointment, do you have a retail location? Thanks, Greg

Believe me guys, Joe is worth every penny!!!!

He grinded my wedges and my irons !!! Since then I have equipment to suit my playing style!

Hi Joe,

I Hope Ryan hasn't bought all you're stuff? LOL

No need for thanks, it's the truth !!

Cold spell.... Tell me about it! Today it was already -3°C (that's about 26°F)

In the UK and Spain they even had some snow today...?

Oh well time to work on the swing right? (and of course buy some more stuff LOL)

Talk to you soon!

Well, Ryan is Ryan by nature LMAO! :D

Anyway, we got to much rain this week and the day we palyed at Harding Park is the day the wet front were started to come. It made the course play soooooo much longer and harder by the minutes due to my old bones and muscles despite how many skins I won. :) Just a lucky one! Not easy to play with studs!!! ;)

Anyway, I'm gonna build a couple of this wedges for me and as a demo for customers to try.

I'm intertested in getting a price for a set (3) Miura Wedges.

Currently playing Titlelist 54deg, bent to 52 deg., 10deg. bounce,

56deg., 14deg. bounce,

60 deg., 8 deg. bounce,

Reg flex, Black gold Reg. shaft.

Medium divot,

Turf is medium to soft.

Any help?

Thanks in advance

Email me your info and explanation of your wedge game and course condition in your area as much as possible to [email protected], we'll start from there.

THX!

Joe made up a set of these a month or so ago for me. 51, 56 and 61 degree. I've tried a BUNCH of wedges over the last couple of years and they were all GREAT. For the first few rounds/practice sessions. Then the honeymoon was over soon after. After talking with Joe about my game and what I wanted, he ground these bad boys up and sent them to me. I don't know what it is, but I have NEVER hit so many shots so close to the hole or in than I have with these. Don't know what it is but they just glide thru turf and sand. Just think of the shot you wanna hit and let it do the work.

If you want some really outstanding wedges and service to boot, I'd HIGHLY recommend Joe to fix you up. No pic's but they are real similar to the ones above.

BTW, Joe, when is my new set gonna be ready? Check's on the way!! :D

Thanks for giving us a head up on how you are doing with the first set, hope you have more good shots with them for a long time to come.

The second set were ground and ready for the shafts. I'm just waiting for the shafts to come in.

Thanks again !

Guy's, this is my wedge he grinds for me and he sits on it, claiming he still has not received the DG X-7 tour shaft yet. Dang it Joe, I think I would have finished higher up on the money list last week w/ this tool. Send it damn it! :)

Joe,

Which wedge would you recommend that grind most in the sand or the lob? What type of shot/swing will it fit?

I have a couple of extra V3s that I am retiring soon. It may be a good time to experiment.

Are you talking about which type of grind the most popular for sand and lob? IMO moderate M grind or I can call it "M&M" grind

IMO any grind can work for almost any swing, the key is putting the right amount of bounce angle for the right swing type and course condition and add grind for the heel, toe, trailing edge, center (P) or leading edge to meet your skill in manipulating it.

Most grind of tour issue club are not suitable for daily type course we played on, especially in tropical country where the grass are so lush and always moist due to the amount of water they put to counter the warm weather day in day out or pouring rain like mad on monsoon season.

If you are talking about V3 FOURTEEN wedge, I would not recommend that wedge to be grind...that wedge has a very light static weight already, thus is not enough room to grind.

Here is 56* with Heel, Toe, Trailing edge relieve grind and Sexy LIPS option for those of you looking for a wedge that can chip or pitch from a tight lie and yet pop the ball up on a fluffy sand and deep rough lie for a softer landing and a more aggressive swing. Leading edge on this is KILLED to make sure it won't dig to much on chip and pitch shots.
