I have the the Cobra King Forged Tec Black irons and King Black wedges.

Close to 100 rounds of play ( soft midwest loam type soil ).

 

Zero wear issues , one light scratch on the face of my sand wedge , looks like

a small sharp rock was hiding in the sand.

 

The DBM finish is by far the most durable black ever.

I’m mixing in a set of all black leather Gripmasters, should be a murdered out classic! I’m all for black setups but calling oxide a finish is a joke. I’ve been waiting for a durable black finish forever. PVD doesn’t get it done either, I’ve tried them all. BB

I wonder if this didn’t the same or similar finish Ping is using on the Stealth wedges. I’ve used a set all season and they still look great.
