Taylormade tensei pro white hybrid real deal or made for

I was wondering if the tensei pro white hybrid that taylormade offers as a $50 upcharge is the real deal shaft or the watered down version. I heard the pro white titleist offers is the watered down version, but the specs on the taylormade website match exactly MRC’s website in terms of torque, weight, etc

I ordered the GAPR Lo with the 90 TX and it was the real deal

TX flexes with MRC shafts these days are the aftermarket versions when there is an equivalent "OEM" version e.g. Tensei CK/Kuro Kage/Diamana +PLUS/Tensei AV. Anything that is labeled a standard "X" flex or softer will only be the aftermarket version IF it is part of line that does NOT have an OEM counterpart e.g. Diamana 4th Generation. As much as I love Mitsubishi shafts, this obfuscation and general misdirection when it comes to their product lines drives me a little crazy. I have seen this as a growing trend not only in golf but in other industries as well; more and more "premium" products that are being shipped out for manufacturing with fewer and fewer "in house" pieces. This is obviously a more profitable business model but it comes at the expense of product transparency which is HOPEFULLY a product of the weird transition period between the "made for" labeled shafts of the past and whatever they are moving towards in the future.

@MITSUBISHI CHEMICAL - for the 90 stiff flex is there a difference between the aftermarket version and the shaft that comes stock in titleist & other OEM's hybrids? Is there a way to tell the difference between aftermarket and OEM version for 90HY stiff flex?

Specs match on both websites for the 90 stiff, not the x/tx though.

I mean to be fair, I don't think the Titleist one is watered down at all. Forgive me as I haven't directly checked the specs but I have a 90g Tensei White pull from an 818 that I've hit side by side against a real-deal 100g Tensei White and the graphics, feel, and dispersion were identical. The rule of thumb is that the non-pro (in the wood, not necessarily the hybrid) will be black with a gray colour change about 1/2 way down. The pro ones will also say MRC Boron near the tip.

 

I have not seen such distinction on the Titleist vs. pro hybrid shafts making me believe they are the real thing.
