Tee Prizes

I'm headed down to california in a couple weeks for my first AJGA and I was wondering what a typical tee prize is for a AJGA tournament. Not that it matters I'm just wondering lol.

But yeah that's the normal stuff...most of the time in the events that I played in you got a towel and hat with that events stuff (name, logo, sponsors) on it.

 

Still use the one towel I got, merely because I won that tourney I guess, really don't know why

And playing in ajga invitationals is an added bonus. I got extra stuff like nice sweaters, a dress shirt, hats,special things from the sponsor. etc..

plus they are run amazingly well.

Ya that's right. They just had a article about how macarthur renewed their sponsorship or something like that.

Invitationals are where they give the good stuff like I got a bagboy mammoth travel bag for playing the JAS invitational :D

The AJGA towels are great. I still have some hanging around 11 years after my last event. I will throw one on the bag every once in a while.

Sorry to bump this thread, but if any juniors got an extra AJGA towel laying around, please sell it to me. I lost mine about a month ago and haven't been able to replace it since.

Yessir. I played 5 opens this summer and (3 of which i played qualifiers and 2 of them i chose to play and the other I opted out) and came home with 5 towels, 8 hats, 5 dozen and 3 sleeves of Prov1s, 8 Bullfrog Sunscreens, 5 AJGA Polo Shirts, and a bunch of those LA'ARA bars. This stuff adds up fast

im playing in the qualifer at traditions. What can I expect to get?

Qualifier you might get a hat that is different from the ones they have at the event, and maybe a sleeve of balls. No towels or anything else good unless they've changed it over the past few years.

They come in all different colors but they have the AJGA logo in a oval dancing all over the cover. Here is one:

The AJGA gives out some nice stuff, the polos are cash. Pretty weird that you guys are trying to buy AJGA towels though, it's not like they're any different than a normal towel.

The dancing AJGA logos is not what makes the cover worth $1000 it is the logo on the sides of the cover

my daughter is playing in the AJGA heather farr and this is what they got below, this is not the norm, but a top ranked event. last year at an invitational they all got high end golf travel bags

Oh yeah my friend was telling me about that FootJoy thing, that is sick. Really cool of FootJoy to step up like that. The AJGA is unbelievable at getting great sponsors who give the kids stuff that they actually want. I remember I played in a non-AJGA event and the giveaway at sign in was like a bunch of folders and pens. Not that I expect them to give me sweet stuff, but why even waste the money? Keep up the good work AJGA.
