Ontario Golfers

I am in Barrie and we are still a loooong way away from anything unless its off mats. (which I will not do)

 

I am hoping you guys know of anything GTA or south that will be open soon? Ranges?

They've started to actually remove snow from the fairways and greens here today so that they melt quicker, they will open a week or so sooner, they estimate 3 weeks from today if this nice weather keeps up. This si 3 hours north of you too!

Don't know which exactly, but I read on twitter that some GTA courses hope to be open by next week.

I would take hitting off mats outdoors right now. We aren't even close to that at the moment.

I went to the indoor range in Markham this weekend with a buddy and had a great time. Using the targets they had set up helped me work on keeping my ball flight lower. (Im determined to get my ball flight down this season!)

I live in NB, we are getting our 3rd dump of over 40 cm tonight. There is at least 2 1/2 feet of snow on the course here in Moncton. I am hoping for the Long Weekend in May.

Unless we get constant temps in the teens or above, I can't see anything in the GTA opening before Good Friday. There is just so much frost in the ground.....

Markham Golf Dome opened their outdoor range over the weekend or so the email I received from them said.

I'm from alliston, just south of Barrie. On Sunday I drove down and played beechwood gc

I live just south of Ottawa and it will probably be another few weeks before any course open around here. It's depressing.

There is a par 3 9 hole here in Brooklin. On Sunday as I peel out our road I see the place JAM PACKED. People waiting. Once the snow melted they opened.

Tarandowah is open now. According to guy on Toronto Golf Board who played it - actually pretty dry
