Chicago golf, Wednesday April 1st

Will be in Chicago from New York for work a couple days next week...I took Wed. April 1st off and intend to play 36 holes, probably at Harborside International. As of now I was planning on doing all 36 there, but since they will only have one of their 18's open, I'd be down to do the other 18 at a different course too if wanted.

 

I'll be alone so if anyone is interested in joining let me know.

Best of luck, weather isn't really cooperating right now as we just got another dusting of snow overnight. Most courses just opened a few weeks ago and are pretty rough still. Harborside is probably the closest decent public course to the city, and isn't really all that close to another course to allow for playing another 18. Looking at the extended forecast, they're saying low 60s for Wednesday, which will probably eventually become mid 50s, and on a course like Harborside where the wind blows like crazy, it's gonna feel even colder.

I would join you but with your +1 cap and my +13 cap, it would probably be more enjoyment for you if I carried your bag.

Thanks...yeah I saw it's gonna be real cold the next day or two then next week looks pretty good with 50's and 60's. We've had snow on the ground where I live since January and I haven't been able to play since November, so really any conditions beat not playing at all, lol.

I'll probably just end up doing all 36 at Harborside.

Ha...well I haven't played a single round since November, so I certainly won't be playing to my cap until May probably.
