Looking for accurate GPS (could be watch)

Looking for a GPS that gives front, middle, back of green. Also, would like distance to and to carry hazards. I have a laser that I love but these would be the two things I'm missing. I don't care if watch or screen because clic gear has a mount for both. I want it accurate and based on where the cart is not from middle of fairway. Please advise. Good battery is a bonus. Is there an accurate iPhone app? Thanks.

I should add I don't want a annual subscription and don't need club distances and the sort. The more basic (user friendly) the better.

Anything Garmin is near/far green distance and no annual fees. S1 watch can be had for about $100 and the S2 about $150. If you don't want a watch, go with the Garmin G6 handheld. I'd recommend the Bushnell neo-xs but you said you wanted near/far green distance as opposed to front/back, so if that's really important to you then Bushnell is out.

If you really want to go inexpensive, there are many smartphone apps, but I think they are a pita compared to a dedicated device. Plus you risk damaging your phone the more you have it out. Skydroid is available for both android and iphone for about $3.00 and is pretty darn good and worth a try for $3.

If you put in GPS mode [yardages] on the first page and don't use aerial, then it doesn't use ANY data and only the GPS chip. Press the eyeball [something like that] on the upper right on the playing screen.

If you put in GPS mode [yardages] on the first page and don't use aerial, then it doesn't use ANY data and only the GPS chip. Press the eyeball [something like that] on the upper right on the playing screen.

What is GPS mode, don't see that as an option. See 2D, 3D, satellite, yardages, flyover, course navigator.

Front and back of green as approached from the fairway. Near and far edge of green as approached from your position. Unless you have large sprawling greens it doesn't generally make a huge difference, but is an important difference the user should be aware of.

I chose the Bushnell because it gives some hazard info and can live without near and far most of the time.
