Played Scotland Run April 6th. The greens were already recoving from the aeration. Actually, were very puttable. I'm sure they are fine now, definitely by the 5th. (which is my wife's birthday, so you know I won't be there!)

Where do you usually play?

I play with a group of guys here at work and we play all over, although last year I didn't get to play as many as them new born son and all..

This year I played:

I play Indian Springs in Marlton because I'm a resident and it's 30 to walk, shot 90 there sat.. played Golden Pheasant 2 weeks ago 89, Played ramblewood in Mt. laurel shot a 90 1st round of the year..

 

I'll play where ever ttyt... I'm hoping to play sandbarrens soon, my dad's a member. Little Mill, hopefully soon. And any good course I can get a discount on ! LOL..

 

I love to play but it's so GD expensive around here... hell the shore courses are going to be $125 on average..

 

If anyone wants to get together to play just drop me aline I'll fit er in hopefully!

Look into the victory golf pass, they offer all kinds of deals. If you do a google search a I am sure it will pop right up.

I don't know the course at all or the setup so where should we meet?

 

I plan on getting there early enough to hit balls and putt for abit, so I can loosen those herniated disks up! LOL

 

Also, whites or blues? or does it matter...

 

I have a guy I work with that said the course is a killer, he shot a 117... so, I'm really going to work this week to get in a groove.

The course has everyting in front of you, not overly tough at all. Being that it is early in the year the rough will be short and the higher grasses will not be as tall as mid season either.

 

The greens are huge, as are most of the fairways.

 

I thinkg the Blue Tees are about 6,500, the Whites are only like 6,100 yards.

 

Beiong as the weather is supposed to be nice, I am sure they will be booked solid. So if some want to play Blues and others Whites it is not like we will slow anyone down.

While playing Scotland Run on a Saturday you guys will be seeing skydivers overhead all day. I used to fly them 9 years ago just as they were finishing the golf course. If you are there around sunset they just might skydive onto the course for a few drinks at the clubhouse.

I can not wait to see some wider fairways, and larger greens. My handicap is on the way up, which is getting expensive as heck.

 

The whole hit it in the trees and chip out syndrome is driving me nuts. I will take waste area over trees and day.
