Gap W, from your iron set, or Wedge specialist?

I would use the set GW if they made it for lefties in the S3 Pro. Alas, I used Vokey SM4 Oil Can 50/55/60. Honestly I rarely find myself needing a full shot from a gap wedge so I prefer the vokey for better feel and turf interaction with long chips and bumpnruns.

I don't know if anyone is the same but the only issue that I have is the difference between my PW and the 52 wedge. The difference between the PW and the 52 is more than loft. The ball speed from my AP2's just seem to be so much greater than the speed off the face of the 52. I was measured at the beginning of the summer and my PW was carrying 136 but my 52 was only going 115, far too big a gap. I mean 21 yards off difference for 5 degrees of loft. Anyone else have something similar?

Next time around I will be going for a 50 degree gap wedge.

I agree with you 100%. I have the exact same issue with my ap2 pw and 52* vokey they are about 19 yards apart. I can choke down on my pw for a 125 yard shot when my 52* top end is 122. It's just not ideal. I'm upgrading my sm4s soon to sm6s or the rtx 2.0s. Any other suggestions anyone?

I like to play my i25 UW at 50 degrees, but I sneak in my TMTP 52 for generally chipping. In lush grass chipping with the UW is ok. The bladey 52 is great off tight links type firm lies I find.

I was considering trading my R7TP PW for a 588 wedge (what the rest of my wedges are) before I switched to SLDR irons. Wouldn't consider doing that with this new set. I dont have the AW but I imagine ,that similarly, the choice of whether or not to use the set wedges differs from set to set

That's where I ordered mine too. The GW from the set gives me more confidence from 200 yards in.

I have the Z355 50' gap wedge. Nice clean wedge. They also have a 56' sand wedge available in the UK, that's not available here in Canada, or the US, from what I'm told. I've email Srixon in the UK about getting the SW, but haven't heard anything. Can you recommend a retailer I could contact about getting this wedge?
