New user... saying hello

Hello ladies and gents.

I am new user here, just registered....I was actually browsing for some info about some clubs and found this forum right after I signed up for Golf Digest subscription :tongue:

Anyways, I started to play last year and I got addicted to this game. I love it. The only problem is that I am bad :rofl: but I am sure with practice that will change. I went to play 18 holes last weekend and shot embarrassing 117. It's ok though, because that was my first time out this year.

I went to driving range couple weeks ago. I really need to take some classes which I am planning on doing this year. There was a teacher at the driving range and he gave me some very good pointers in regards to hitting my driver. I was struggling with it. I am happy to say, that by using his tips, I was hitting the driver very straight and far. My problem is short game. I seem to waste A LOT of strokes in getting the ball on the green. I need to fix that.

Anyways, I have pretty cheap clubs which I bought actually 2 years ago, but started to really play last year. I got a whole set for 200 bucks from sporting goods store. But now I am itching to buy a new, nicer set.

Anyways, just thought I would say hello and introduce myself.
