Can they be removed and saved....?

Can the stitchback grips be removed and saved?...If so, How?...Thanks in advance for any response....

If you have a PRESSURIZED GRIP REMOVER that would work the best. I will try and get one off with air and solvent, just to see if that works. Did you put it on already?

I certainly did and I think I might like the regular Byron velvet a little better.....I think I'm used to the skinnier grip as it helps me release the putter a little better....I still might leave it on as it takes a little handsiness out of the stroke but I'm curious if I can save it if I decide to go back since its a beautiful grip....

It might be easier to leave the grip and change the shaft instead. Most putter shafts, even True Temper, are only $5 to $10. Your Gripmaster is worth at least twice that. Changing a shaft is very, very easy.

Now there's an idea that hadn't occurred to me...On that note do the Byron experts know what size shaft I should be looking for should I decide to go that route?

You need a .355 shaft on Byron`s putters.. Very good idea.

I've done it with the standard grip remover tool, but try and minimise the time that the tool is inside the grip as you can stretch the bottom of the underlisting if you take too long. I've removed a couple without too much hassle though.

I just took off 2 with not much trouble. The first one came off very easy .. I used a tool I sell .. The AirNozzle by Star Grip.. just happens to be the same tool used by H....I squirted a little solvent in the hole and used the AirNozzle and it just popped right off tape and grip.. Grip is in perfect condition. The second one was a little harder. Tried it the same way it didn`t come off completely. The end was loose and I used a V-GROOVE GRIP REMOVER from Golf Works

Just pour some solvent in the V-Groove Grip Remover and slide it into place -- a great way to save the grip for re-use! The groove helps direct solvent under the grip and lift it away.I then used the Air Nozzle and popped it off. Grip is in perfect condition.
