Step Patterns on Shaft

Which is stiff, x-stiff, etc.?

I am trying to find out the stiffness on my wedges...i have three tm rac wedges...supposedly x-100 dg steel shafts...when i measure from where the shaft and hosel meet, to the first step, it is about 4.5 inches on all three...does this sound like x-100?...but then i have a ben hogan sand wedge that also has x-100 supposedly, but it is 5.5 inches...and then i have a ben hogan gap wedge...i have no idea what flex is in it but this one is around 7.5 inches! what flex would u say that is? thanks

The Hogans aren't standard with True Temper. True Temper's web site has an "Identify a Shaft" section that gives the tip to first step and step patterns for their shafts. The bad news is that they show a parallel shaft's specifications on the Dynamic Gold Taper page. I have contacted TT twice to ask that they correct this error. They said that they would correct the mistake but about six months has passed since they made that promise. I sent another email tonight. :drinks:
