Trackman/Launch Monitor experts??

I had the chance to spend some significant time working with my M1 driver on a launch monitor today and was hoping for some advice about my numbers from folks who know more than I do about optimizing launch and spin. I wasn't really interested in what the readings were saying in terms of distance because I don't know what type of settings were being used (firm, soft, wind, etc).

 

Anyway, my numbers on average (50 shots, threw out best five and worst five) after adjusting the driver to what I felt was best in terms of feel and ball flight were 103 MPH, 12.1 launch angle, and backspin around 2,480 rpm. I play an M1 430 9.5 degree driver with a Fubuki Alpha 70 stiff shaft at 44.5 inches. It's lofted down to 8 degrees, the front weight is neutral, and the back weight is all the way back. I was using a Tour B330 golf ball.

 

My questions for the experts is how are these numbers are what sort of changes to the numbers would produce more optimal distance? And in terms of the latter, what could I do in terms of the driver setup to maybe get better results? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Forgot that one. Ball speed average was 149.6.

You may be able to loft up to 8.5° and try increasing your launch angle just a hair. Other than that, you aren't going to get very much more without more speed. Your spin is pretty much on point for your swing speed.

149.6 / 103 = 1.45, so its club length, total weight and balance

From 103 you can get 103 * 1.5 = 154.2 Mph ball speed

154.2 - 149.6 = 4.6 mph each of 2 yards = 9 yards more to get by improving ball speed alone

Then you might look at the other numbers, but 1:45 is to low to start dialing in the others, improve ball speed closer to the max first

 

You can also use Flightscope otimizer online and use this 2 different ball speeds as a start, and then play around with the other numbers

Your launch is LOW....but its not as it should be from that club now, improving PTR changes impact spot, launch angle and spin, and thats why you have to dial in a better PTR value first, then look at the other numbers.

Howard is absolutely correct; smash factor (ball speed / swing speed) nearer 1.5 or, more consistent centered strikes will be the first step.
