Woah, Another site charges to post in BST!

Suggestions for places to sell clubs?

I'm relatively new to this site as you can see. I just registered on BSG a couple days ago, only to find out you have to pay $3 for each item you want to sell!

That is like stealing candy from a baby. Completely and utterly wrong.

Aside from here and ebay, are there good places to try to sell clubs? I've got a Cameron, 983E and 975J that need to go.

BSG has charged for BSTs for quite awhile. We will eventually have to charge here as well. Ebay charges are astronomical compared to $3.00. We are working on a model where posting will be free for certain amount of time and then beyond that you would pay to keep the listing active. Also, we are developing a site support program where if you help support the site, the listing would be free for the subscription period. BST fees are just a way to help keep sites running.

I think paying a 1 time membership of $10 or something would go over much better. This membership would give you allow you to post threads in BST. You could also charge $10 each time someone wanted to change their avatar. This is the typical model used by other forums.

I know that on some off-topic forums I visit (SA, though Genmay doesn't charge), I've typically only spent $10 for the account and $10 for a title which also brings search privileges. There are people who feel like a title change every month, and for those who have the money, it's a great way to draw income from those who have it to spare.

Golfwrx will be launching a membership program soon. There won't be any privileged info for being a supporting member. Membership to the site will always be free. What will be offered is additional web services, such as more PM space, bigger upload directory, etc. When we do start charging for BST posts, that will also be included for supporting members. There are significant start up and monthly cost that we would like to recoup and then turn our attention to more member benefits and growing the community. More details will come out as things get firmed up. We want to emphasize though that membership will always be free and whether you choose to help us support the site or not, the access to information will always be the best that we can deliver.

If you want top dollar, Ebay. If you want to try the Boards: Golfwrx, Tourspec, Golfopinions, GEA, and BSG are your best bets.

I keep reading about BSG but I've never been there and can't even find it using a search engine. I've found a home here and won't ever leave but I am curious as to what all the talk is about BSG (not much good i might add)
