Used my UproMX again last week...

So, unbeknownst to me I had lost my S1 charging cord and in a pinch broke out the UproMX last Friday. Its probably been sitting on my shelf for at least 2 years, hadn't been been turned on since. Fully charged right up no problem and in a happy coincidence I found that the course I was playing I had already downloaded in Pro Mode.

 

Thing worked like an absolutely charm, I really miss it. I forget how damn easy this thing was to use and how much data they managed to pack into the Pro Mode courses. And super easy to toggle between 4 or 5 different views.

 

I'll even go out on a limb and say that no GPS unit since has managed to pack as much data into such a small device. I dont think it was anything fancy, it just WORKED.

Yep. Still have two of them. One I got for my son and he replaced it with a watch. I picked up a garmin g6 and it is every bit as good and maybe better but the old upro was a great product. I switched as one unit wasn't disconnecting properly from the charger required G taking the battery out after charging. Not a huge thing. I'd take the battery out to get it to reset, re-inert battery and it would operate perfectly when in use. The other unit began freezing up once a round requiring re-booting. Usually at Avery bad time.

 

This was after several years of exclusive use.
