Suggestions for an MP-64 combo set

I need a little more forgiveness to go with my mp-64s in the 5,4,3. What I can I say, I just don't hit it as well as I used to. I really don't want to go h4 or h5 just an mp series with more forgiveness that's not a total tank. Thanks guys.

Hey man, take a look at the new jpx range maybe the hot metal or forged or the old jpx range and use those irons. The gaps may be a little funny but can understand not wanting to give up the feel in the scoring irons. I blended this set when I first started as well. Or possibly try putting graphite shafts in your longer irons. Wasn't a fan of the h4 or h5 combo sets either.

Headed to the PGA store to see what they have to offer. I started playing a par 3 corse near me and it required quite a few 190-210 carries. Thx Red

And I also forgot. You could try the MP54 but I wasn't a fan of the feel, or MP 25 for longer irons. But if your looking for a nice feel and very easy to use then JPX is your answer.

+1 on the mp 54 suggestion. I demoed both 54's & 64's during my fitting and the 54's were a little easier to hit in the longer irons for me.

How do you like the feel? I had DG s300 in them and just couldn't get the love from them.

MP-54 was going to be my suggestion as well. They were my far-and-away favorite during a full day of demoing, but I cheaped out and went with MX-200 5-PW for the price of a single MP-54 new. That said, a full set of MX-23, MX-25, MX-200, or MX-300s might be worth looking at, giving you the ability to mix in whatever combination of clubs you might want to use, or use it as a stand-alone set if needed too... and they're easy to find in the $75-$150 range depending on makeup and condition. MX-200 is probably going to be the most forgiving (offset, sole width) and the MX-300 or MX-25 are probably going to be the most like MP-54. These are budget options, not the be-all-end-all in MP-like forgiveness.

My previous irons were titleist 735.cm's with dg s300's. When I switched to the 54's with xp105's (s300) I didn't notice a huge difference in feel at impact. Both have a solid but soft muted like feel until you start missing the sweet spot.
