May I suggest you make one or two practice swings first before actually hitting the ball?

Ok I am no swing coach but u r swing'ing in th opposite direction than u r alignment: This causes you to manipulate u r swing. First set two clubs on the ground RR tracks outside target inside parallel for u r feet. You have to setup correctly first and I don't think you are... then get another video!!

 

And that is where I think you get a little to far away from the ball at setup (hands from body). When you hit bad shots you drop u right side.

I had the shanks something fierce this spring but only with my sw. I just tried to hit it on the toe and that cured it. Put some impact tape on the clubface to make sure you're really shanking it and not just mis-hitting it. If it's off the hosel, consciously think about hitting it off the toe.

With the usual disclaimer that I'm not an expert, I looked at the good/bad comparisons with the eight iron and sand wedge to search for any difference in your swing. What I noticed was that on the good swings, your hands passed closer to your right thigh through impact. I can't say what the exact cause or fix is but in the end, I suspect that a fix will have your hands in a more consistent position. I'm fully tuned into this problem since I'm currently fighting with the same thing :drinks:
