Hey guys,

 

I'm going to be in this area in May and was thinking about playing this course.

 

Has anyone here played it and is it worth $75?

I've played there a ton. I can't speak to it's current conditioning, but it's a good local track. Not sure I'd head out of my way to play it, but it is a fun layout that has no bad holes, but no real memorable ones either. There isn't much else decent in the area (the country club is okay, great greens), without a drive.

 

They've had several state/pnga events there and can play tough/long when the wind is up or you stretch it out. Where are you staying specifically? I would personally prefer to drive the 90 miles to Gamble Sands, but if that's not an option, then I'd say play Moses Pointe.

Pretty much what oregongolf said. It is definitely the best course in the area, but that's not saying much. I have played it a few times and really enjoyed it, as it has been in solid shape both times. No holes that really stick out for better or worse, but the approach shot to #9 offers a pretty cool view.

 

For $75 in May, I would recommend giving it a try.

Thanks guys. I just relayed the information to my buddies and looks like they want to pass on it and keep heading East to play a few rounds in Spokane.
