Sawgrass in September?

Might be heading to Florida in September, a buddy and I to meet another buddy of mine. Tossed around the idea of playing Sawgrass. Not really looking at a multi-night stay, so one of their packages is likely out. Anyone know what kind of green fees we may be looking at at that time of the year?

Hopefully someone will address the rate...right now it is $400 a round. I assume you want to play The Stadium Course versus the Dye Course. Whatever the price be sure to factor in the cost of a forecaddie, which is required... or you can use a caddie. I can not find on the website information about caddie requirements. I know that when I played I used a cart, and it had to stay on the cart path at all times, and I had to use a forecaddie. I think I did not walking to and from the cart, than I would have if I had walked the course!!

Yeah Stadium. It would be an out of the way play, as we are planning on spending more time around the treasure coast area. But since we'd be coming down from Canada, a couple hundred miles wouldn't be the dealbreaker. But it's not our main area. The fees, however.... We might have an in to a better rate, but that isn't a certainty so I want to plan based on regular info.

None of us would be cool with CPO unless there was a torrential rain 10 minutes before.

Is it weird to walk without a caddie? I'd rather do that than go Cart Path Only.

It’s not a matter if you played in worst or not but rather the courses are closed down due to unprecedented amount of water.

There are lots of tour courses that are CPO. Harbour Town is one that quickly comes to mind in addition to TPC Sawgrass Player's Stadium course. No carts on the actual fairways....
