BST Warning and reset time

You have had rules issues before and now you have again. Please understand we don't want to have to do this. We have tens of thousands of members and thousands online at any given time. While we wish we could engage in rules discussions we simply do not have the time to debate this ruling. This is your second warning and the next will be a suspension. If you go for some time with no issues we can also go the other way and take you off this warning level.

 

So I made 2 mistakes

 

So my first warning was for selling 15 grips and not 13. That happened mid/end of April

 

I recently sold an item and was going to re-list another one and accidentally hit post new topic rather than preview post as I was going to save the BB code for use after my 24 hour period had lapsed. Before I could delete it I got flagged again.

 

Totally understand both of those things are in violation of the rules an I am OK with it.

 

 

My question is, what is the time frame where a warning gets bumped off my warning counter? I now know its not 3 months as that was the time period between my first and 2nd warning.

I've been here almost 10 years and never heard of a "warning counter." Must have missed something somewhere along the way...

They apparently have a 3 strikes policy. Which is understandable. They then indicated that "If you go for some time...." I want to know what some time is.

There is no set timeframe. You've had two rules issues in a short period of time, thats all I can say. Some people go years and hundreds of sales with no warnings at all.

 

I think the rules you violated are pretty clearly spelled out in the rules themselves. My best advice is if you have any questions next time, ask *before* you post.

SO it will reset in 6 months, a year more?

 

Just curious about whether its a set time frame or just a judgement call
