Q. I believe you witnessed the drama on the 18th hole just now. Tiger Woods being the role model of golf in the world and being No. 1, the reaction after making a mistake on the golf course, tearing the glove and hitting the iron towards the bag, do you think it will create some kind of bad image towards his title or himself, and what are the repercussions, what is your personal opinion against his character toward the game of golf when he makes mistakes?

LIAN WEI ZHANG: Every golfer has his own character and his own style. Even though Tiger did something to his golf bag, that's probably just one way to relieve his anger. As long as he doesn't bother other golfers in the group, it's okay with me.

And maybe that's the best way for Tiger to get anger relief and he still saved par on the green after putting a ball into the water. If some players get really upset on the golf course and go home and do something stupid, that's probably even worse.

So I think as long as he keeps it to himself and not disturbing the other golfers in the group, that's fine with me.

Tiger Woods Interview>>>Here

TIGER WOODS: It was a long and frustrating day. There was a good bit of bad weather out there and I just had to deal with it. I had to hang in there and grind away and just be as patient as possible because the golf course being as wet as it is, it was hard to make a bunch of birdies.

I made a little run on the back nine and let it slip away at the end with a bogey at the 16th and dumped it in the water on 18. But overall I am very pleased. I am right there in the ball game, only two back and we’ve got a long way to go and I am only two back.

I am feeling good enough. My mind is a little frustrated! I didn’t really get anything going today until probably on the eighth and got more comfortable and hit some better golf shots on the back nine.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I got here. I played the ball as it lay in the Pro-Am and the ball was picking up mud on every hole so it’s hard to control your shots to the green. The ball in hand makes a big difference. You can be more aggressive and you only have to watch out for too much spin.

I had opportunities but hit a terrible shot at the 16th and ended up making bogey and didn’t feel comfortable with my club selection on 18 and hit a 5-wood and came out of it and made a good save and to have finished two over for the last three holes would have left a really bad taste in the mouth.

Interesting they would consult with that great world golfer Zhang. Did anyone really watch this tournament? Tiger wasn't the only one annoyed as cell phones were continually going off during backswings. People didn't shut them off they kept yammering on. Also Renton Laidlaw said he thought Tiger was very tolerant since everyone was snapping photos like mad since it was Tiger. Particularly when it got slightly dim those same cameras were firing their flashes as well. Pretty distracting if you ask me.

Much ado about nothing.  So he showed some frustration, its not the first time or the last.  So the fans were not as knowledgeable as the Open fans in U.K., so what.  So they took a lot of pictures, and had cell phones, so what.

When your playing well and concentrating all that means nothing.  Boo Who, so he finished 2nd, so what.  I would think his show money was more than 1st place, good for him.

The difference between Tiger and most of the others that have used their celebrity to demand large appearance fees is that Tiger makes an attempt to win the tournament. If you look at the history of people like Faldo and Seve that demanded those kind of appearance fees you will see many times they just mailed it in. I witnessed many of those tournaments personally. Show up, collect money, sometimes make the cut often times not, go home with appearance money that often times exceeded the prize money many times over.

I don't care how well you are playing or what zone you are in if someone fires a flash during your backswing YOU WILL BE AFFECTED. That happened a lot in China with their little point and shoots and cell phones.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
