Bought two new shafts in the US to reshaft my wedges with (no, I couldn't get them where I live in Europe). I have them in a mailing tube but started to wonder if I'd get any grief at JFK airport security. Anyone have any experience with bringing shafts through security?

I can't say for the US but I have brought graphite wood shafts on planes in Canada numerous times without issue. It was gripped shafts from my driver and fairway wood in a cardboard tube. Security people didn't even ask about it just put it through the scanner.
