AMT Black vs Red

I'm taking a look at the AMT Red vs AMT Black in S300. Looking at the True Temper shaft diagrams, the step patterns, tip lengths, and butt lengths are identical. Is it wall thickness that makes the Black the heavier shaft, and is that also how Black is a slightly lower trajectory and spin shaft?

Or do you think they just make a bunch of them and then weight sort the lighter ones into the "Red" and the heavier ones to "Black"?

True Temper has used variable wall thickness since DYNAMIC who came to the marked in 1942, so the reason for weight and balance point differences is wall thickness.
Black vs Red is 2 different shaft models, where RED is SEMI ascending, pay attention to that the 4 longest irons in the RED has the same weight (95 grams)
And because weight is different, you will also see that Balance point is slightly different, so this aint something made by sorting, but by design and Variable wall thickness.
