Flightscope xi tour connection problems

I have an xi tour that I am having connection issues with. It takes forever to get from "connected"to" ready" then after I hit a couple or shots it will get stuck on connected for about a minute then go to "ready" .I can then hit shots with an inconsistent delay between shots .Sometimes a few seconds or sometimes 40 seconds to get to "ready".Sometimes it goes to "connecting" and then nothing happens .I then have to exit the vx app disconnect the WiFi, turn off the xi and restart everything again to connect,then the same crap happens.

I have tried everything .Turned off all other devices ,forgot all WiFi,changed up the way that I start up everything .Even changed al, the lights from LED to halogen.

Phoned Flightscope and they reinstalled all the firmware.

Any ideas before I drop hundreds sending this in for repair?

I have also tried installing the vx app on several different devices with no change

I had this issue and had to send my unit into FS. It was under warranty for me. But one tip they gave after I got the unit back was to put the ipad into airplane mode. It is very rare that I have a connection issue anymore. Not sure if it was repair or airplane mode, since I have only used it in airplane mode.

My issue was that the wifi channel that the unit was on was too crowded .

Ran the WiFi analyser app that showed this.

Flightscope changed the channel the unit was on remotely.

The unit is running great now
