OUUL vs Datrek vs Hot Z

In the search for a Ping Hoofer, I came across some extremely light weight stand bag options... I was hoping that there would be some help out there as far as durability and functionality reviews. Figured I'd start a thread hoping to get the reviews in one spot.

OUUL Air Light X/Super Light - both 2.7 lbs

Datrek Trekker Ultra Light

Hot-Z 2.0/3.0

While I do want a Ping Hoofer, all of these are hard to ignore as they are all right around $100 less than the Ping.

Can't speak to the others but I just got the Ouul Python Superlight. It's an OK bag but I have a few complaints.

 

Wish it had a valuables pocket in the upper right like many other bagsWish it had a smaller pocket above the ball pocket like many other bagsThe water bottle pocket is useless. It's so tight, you can't get a bottle in it. I use it for my range finder and it's tight getting that in and out.

I started a thread asking about the bag before I got it. You can read some responses there. Others had reliability issues. So far I have about 6-7 carrying rounds on it and no sign of wear as yet.

 

For me this bag was a cheaper way to find out if a smaller bag would work for me. I'm not expecting the world out of it.

I have the same bag, and have similar complaints. I have been using it over a year, and it is still in good shape. The water bottle pocket I have found is actually big enough for me, the opening just doesn't stretch out like it should. Overall a decent bag for the price.
