I haven't got to play with them yet, they just came today. I am playing around noon tomorrow and will let you know, but the wedges feel amazing and choeppner's scratch irons felt great (softer yet just as solid as MP67's). Look almost the same from address in the mid and long irons, but the wedge and 9 iron definitely look a lot better than the 67s and all have a thinner top line.

Nice blades...I've been talking with Ari as I am going to order a set of the SB's. Quick questions; what shape head did you get? Standard, Round, or Square? I like the look of yours. What retail blade would you say the SB's look similiar to from the address position??? MP 37, Nike Blades, etc...thx

It is the standard head shape on both the irons and the wedge, they look almost the same as the mp67's I had before except the wedge and 9 iron look a lot better. I told Ari I wanted the head shape of a MP14 with less offset and muscle similar to 681s

I shot 70 today and would have been lower if I could putt. The feel is soft yet solid, similar to tn87s but a touch softer. The ball flight is higher than any blade I've hit so far especially in the long irons, which is a good thing. I simply can't say enough good things about them, I felt that I had amazing distance control once I figured out how far the ball was carrying. I was 4 under on my last 6 holes.

Performance with the looks . You got me thinking ..
How high is the ball flight ? Kind of like MP 33's . Its easy to land them soft ,but troublesome in windy condition.
I like the antique finish . Will wait for initial few months to see how the Macgregors perform.

haha they are those daphne headcovers, I got them as a gift and thought they were neat, havent seen anyone else with them

ball flight isn't terribly high and I did play in the wind yesterday, I just had to knock down a few more shots where as before I took one club more and stepped on it. I figure I can always hit something low, its harder to hit a 4 iron straight up in the air.

Oh right! Nice headcover anyway, Daphne's are the best. I have a Daphne's Moose headcover for no particular reason, I don't look like a moose, nor do I live in Canada.

I hit 15 greens today, so the love affair is still going on and don't see it stopping. these irons are just so consistent. I wish my putter was the same. I shot 74 with a double, a three putt, and one birdie. I missed 5 birdie putts inside of 6 feet. The greens were in horrible shape, but thats no excuse.
