Pine Craze Lite Stand Bag Broken

Picked up the bag a few months ago from Carl’s Golfland and like everything about however the stand seems to be broken. Whenever I set it down the “dowel” that runs down the spine comes away from the stand mechanism. I can reach my hand down and push it back in and it will work a few times then pop out again. Also if I push the legs out they will extend so it’s not like they are stuck. Has anyone experienced this? Were you able to figure a more permanent fix? Did Ping offer a replacement?

Again. The bag is perfect for me this just shouldn’t happen on a $200+ bag!

This seems to be one of the common problems with the bag currently. That and the dividers breaking.

I had to contact their customer service about the dividers and they said they have new parts on order, but with a long wait. They quoted me about 60 days from them directly.

They did give me the option to go to a authorized dealer to start the warranty claim and if the store was willing to give you stock from their inventory Ping would credit them. Its up to the store though because otherwise they would take the bag to destroy and the replacement would ship from PING.

I had this issue with mine (among other issues), and as I was emptying the bag to take back to the shop a small set screw fell out when I shook the bag upside-down. Turns out this screw is needed to keep the spine dowel in the female end at the bottom. A little tricky to get to, but I was able to get the screw back in with a small screw driver. Hopefully your setscrew is still in there somewhere as replacement bags won't be available for a while.

Had a small issue with my strap that was assembled incorrectly. Parts seem to be out of stock as i was also quoted 30+ days for a replacement. The COVID shutdown has seemed to really stress their supply chain.

That said, Ping CS is great and they are shipping me a whole new bag within the week.

Damn! That was one small screw! Turned the bag over and it hit the ground. Thought I lost it until I stepped in it. Got it back in but still calling Ping tomorrow because I don’t know how long this fix will last.
