Maui Jim HT lens for golf?

Anyone use the HT lenses from Maui Jim to play?  I contacted Maui Jim on Instagram and they said that is the best colored lens for golf, but I always thought it would be more in that pink/red-ish spectrum?  I have already tried the Prizm Golf lenses from Oakley but they just arent as comfortable as I have a flatter/wider face and high cheekbones.  The Flaks I have already are asian fit but they still do not fit as good as my MJ Kaupo's.

 

Just wanted to see if anyone has had luck with the HT lenses or any other lenses with MJ.

I have worn many different brands over the years, and once I discovered Maui Jim, all others are dead to me.  Their glasses are extremely comfortable and much more durable that a lot of brands in similar price range.  I have numerous pairs, and I much prefer the HT lens for golf.  I hope this helps!

I've worn Maui Jim sunglasses for years playing golf and my favorite lens is the Maui Rose lens. While it looks "reddish" from a lens perspective, I feel it makes the green really pop. I'm not a fan of the green HT lens only because it doesn't block as much light as I prefer, but to each their own. You can't go wrong!

In the same boat, always wore Ray Bans and then got a pair of Maui Jims and now they are the only thing I wear. Going to send my pairs off for a some fresh lens and cleanup over the winter and they will be keep on going. As long as you don't go with some designer brand you definitely get what you pay for with sunglasses.

Thanks everyone for the reply.  Completely agree that once I ventured into Maui Jim, nothing else really has compared in terms of comfort.  The ones I have now are perfect but the lenses are too dark for golfing even on a sunny day.

 

I wish sunglasses shops around me would have the HT or rose lens but they usually only have the darker brown/black lenses available.

I have used Maui glasses for the last 10 years for everyday wear. Never got along with them on the golf course. They are ok on bright days on full shots, but I am lost on the greens with them. I play mostly Bermuda greens and I struggle seeing the grain and the slope with the Maui. 

 

i have a big head too, Byron bay Are my everyday glasses with grey polarized lenses. I have always struggled with fit on Oakleys also until I found the Oakley Siphon. Fits me perfect. I got the prism field (prescription) and they are the perfect lens for golf for me. Prism golf was way too light for me.
