Cobra and Titleist Stock vs Aftermarket Shafts

I apologize if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find anything from searching. I was fitted for a TS3 (8.5*) with the Evenflow White T1100 shaft, and my friend was fitted for the Cobra F9 (10.5*) with the Fujikura Atmos tour spec blue 6. Are both of these shafts the "real deal"? I noticed online that the Fujikura shaft sells for $300, but you can get a whole new F9 with the same shaft for $250 from Cobra right now. Similar situation with the T1100, as a new shaft will cost $250 but the club new costs $350 everywhere. The math just doesn't add up for me, yet Cobra and Titleist claim they use the same shafts you can buy from the OEMs. Neither of our shafts have Titleist or Cobra brandings and the graphics look identical to the aftermarket shafts. Any input helps! Thanks in advance!

I couldn't find the Fujikura in black, but supposedly they are the same shafts just different colors.

The shafts that cost 300$, the OEMs buy them for probably 25$ haha (i don't know that for a fact, but they are paying a LOT less since they buy in bulk and are the largest individual customers of these shaft companies.

These days many shafts are "real deal" and i believe those are. I had a F9 with the Atmos Black and it was definitely the real deal.

I believe Titliest uses real deal shafts.

Awesome! I was feeling like I got jipped but this makes me feel better. So I guess if you want an aftermarket shaft offered by a club manufacturer, you should get the club whole and sell the head. Thanks! ?

yeah don't stress , when i bought my F9 i also paid less for the full club than the shaft would cost aftermarket. Got it for like 250$ canadian at a demo day sale but it was still in the plastic. The shaft here is like 399$ LOL

But it's the real shaft. Cobra probably bought thousands of them for pennies on the dollar

I think the market has generically moved away from made for shafts... it makes sense to get a significant bull discount when you agree to buy thousands of shafts... also, a “made for” atmos that underperforms is bad for atmos as well...

but yes, sometimes it’s easier to buy a whole club and sell the part you don’t want... I’ve bought a number of clubs just for the shaft.
