Can Michelle Wie make a BIG comeback this year?

I think she WILL make a big comeback..........she has already admitted........that she should have not played in 2007 due to both of her wrists not being healed properly...........so we can throw out all of her results from last season........she is now back at Stanford starting her 2nd semester...........she spent a week in Florida with her coach David Leadbetter...........and he reported that both wrists are completely heald...........that she is starting to get her old swing back.........and that she HAS her confidence back.........so that all points to her contending again like she did in 2006.............when she made over $720,000 in just 8 LPGA events..........that would have put her in 15th place on the money list............IF she was a member..............she also had the lowest scoring average of all LPGA members in the 4 majors..........and she was just 16 years old at the time..........her first test this year will be in one or two of the first LPGA tournaments in Hawaii...........starting on the 14th of Feb..........she has not announced her schedule yet for this season..........

She is toast. Another example of a teenage brain frying under too much pressure. I'm not saying she won't have some good days, but there is no way she will ever approach the expectations heaped upon her.

I hope so; way to much Michelle bashing the last few years. I'm glad she pulled the raines back in and regrouped injury or not. I think if she can overcome the mis-management of her folks and get back to the basics she has proven to us that she has tons of talent. Personally I would like to see her win on some of the mini tours to get her feet back underneath her then step back into the LPGA picture. Again; I would love to see her silence the critics; seems like a really good kid that feel victim to a lot of poor decisions out of her control.

I hope she does for her sake. I believe that the enjoyment has gone out of the game for her and hopefully she can regroup and win while enjoying the game.

In any case, the LPGA needs something to talk about. Their ratings are always in the tank and they desperately need sponsors. Long gone are the days of Nancy Lopez.

If anything else, she is much better to look at than most of them. You may think that is a chauvinsit statememt, but they allow the woman on tour to wear less presentable clothes than the country clubs I play at............. Got to get those ratings up some way

Comeback from what this girl has not won a tournmament from what I understand sense she was 13.

I stated earlier I think she will have a decent year, but the girl not only needs to work on her game she needs to learn how to win.

Right now I would say her future is a flip of a coin. I would hate to be one of her sponsors.

When I listen to the girl being interviewed or read her interviews she comes across as either very immature or dumb as a stump. The latest interview she did does not change my opinion.

I wish her luck I think she will need it.
