Bag Boy Quad XL Push Cart Tracking Adjustment

My cart pulls to the right.  Looking at some reviews of it recently, someone mentioned there is a screw that can be turned to adjust tracking, and according to the FAQ on the Bag Boy site, the cart has a tracking adjustment, but it gives no explanation of where it is or how to use it.  I emailed Bag Boy, but thought I might get quicker responses here (not that it is an emergency given I've been using the cart of a while now).  Does anyone have a similar experience with this cart and know how to adjust the tracking?  Thanks.

Sorry, I don't know how to adjust that cart.  But I do know that we have a forum here where carts are regularly discussed.  You might want to ask a mod to move this thread there...https://forums.golfwrx.com/forum/68-golf-style-and-accessories/

Thank Nessism.  Wasn't sure where to post it.  Perhaps a mod will see your response and move it.  Don't know how to ask them to do it, but I have had posts moved before.

Click the ... in your first post and select "report".  Then message the mods and ask for the thread to be moved. That should work.

An Allen wrench and instructions are supposed to come with the cart when purchased new.  From the front, if you look at the bar connecting the two front wheels, you'll see a screw on either side.

 

Screw 1:  near the front wheel that is on your left when you are pushing and on your right if you facing the cart from in front of it (to make adjustments). 

Screw 2:  near the front wheel that is on your right when you are pushing and on your left if you facing the cart from in front of it (to make adjustments). 

 

If your cart pulls to the left (when you are pushing), turn the screw 1 counterclockwise.  If it still pulls to the left, turn the screw 2 clockwise.

If your cart pulls to the right (when you are pushing), turn the screw 2 counterclockwise.  If it still pulls to the right, turn the screw 1 clockwise.

Thanks all.  I did get a response from Bag Boy, and it appears I have an older version of the cart that does not have the tracking adjustment screws noted by cardigan.   Nice cart regardless.

I have a quad xl. They sent me some adjustable linkage bars for the rear of the cart to adjust for the pulling right. The really didn't solve the issue, but like you I still like the cart in spite of this.

It's especially nice if you use the top-lock system.  Probably wouldn't buy another cart without that.  Can't imagine this one will wear out any time soon (have had it for a couple of years now), but if I ever replace it with anything, it would probably be an electric.  Not quite far enough into 'geezer' territory to worry about that though.

Unfortunately I have a Sun Mountain C130 that doesn't allow me to take advantage of the top lok... Even so, like you, the only way this one goes if I get one of those fancy electric carts. Most of the folks around here (Northern Virginia near DC) that have them are young techy types.

Well, at least they're walking - which I think is the best way to play the game.
