Congrats to Patty T.

I thought Patty was a UCLA grad...nope.....I didn't know she only spent 2 years at UCLA.

 

In her interview today...she said she still wants to chase/work on distance

 

2020 was a 'different' year because of the pandemic...IMO...it might have cost Noh a ROY....I thought she'd still be in the 2021 ROY convo but it really didn't happen.

I never had Patty or MacGuire on the 2021 ROY radar...but it's not usual.

 

In 2015...the rookie roster was quite strong...many thought Hyo Joo Kim would be ROY...I don't think many had Sei Young Kim on their radar.

 

Thitikul...assuming Q-series success...must be a fav for 2022 ROY...but ya never know if someone will upset her.

What I like about Thitikul is a consistent good performance/results from her..it speaks volumes

BUT

As we know as golfers...it's so easy to LOSE your game overnight.

 

Assuming Q-series success...I'd like to see Shibuno as a 2022 ROY winner...but I have more confidence in Thitikul

Why?

Shibino hasn't demonstrated good consistent results as of late.

 

And yes...I'd like to see Thitikul as a 2022 ROY winner too.

Thitikul is playing in Dubai this week.

They shilled Ariya to play....Moriya, Davies, Matthews and Law are playing.

Minjee isn't defending.
