Scotty's PP58

I'm trying to figure out which of Scotty's grips is most similar to the PP58 midsize. Someone has to know the answer!

 

***I've searched the forums in every way I can think of. Lots of non-Scotty's similar to the PP58 midsize, but couldn't find a straight answer to this specific question. Scotty has to have his own version, right?!

Not really, not for retail at least. He has a corded grip (looks similar but idk) which I think you can only get from the custom shop (ie you’d have to send in your putter just for a grip). Not sure how much the SC cord grip weighs though, I’d guess less than the pp58 midsize

 

Just put a pp58 on your scotty, who cares if the grip says Ping. I mean, Tiger has a Ping grip on his scotty

I haven’t felt anything from Scotty that’s similar to the midsize.  The midsize is kinda squishy and unique

Just bought a 97 Newport that I'm thinking about doing a couple things to. If I do, I'm gonna send it to the custom shop when it opens back up. Will have to choose a grip. Figured I'd get something close since I've fallen in love with that grip. I'll check on the one you mentioned. Thanks

I think the pistolero plus is pretty close. A little bit more of a pronounced pistol on the top hand and little less overall diameter but some additional tape under the bottom hand could get it even closer. I do agree the non-corded PP58 mid is definitely squishier but the corded PP-58 is firmer and to me feels similar. I know Scotty has a corded pistolero but not sure if he does a corded pistolero plus.

The new red ‘pistolini plus’ grips on the 2023 Select lineup (also on the 2022 Phantom X’s, but in yellow) look pretty nice too
