Super Select Plus Putters

I recently tried to order a 33.5” Super Select Newport 2 Plus with 25g weights at my local golf shop. They got a message back from Titleist stating that the heaviest  they’ll go (even at 33”) is 20g and they won’t sell me a putter with anything heavier. Has anyone run into this issue?

I believe you will have to wait for the custom shop to become available for the Super Select series and then send it in for customization.  They will allow you to purchase heavier weights and install them (and also provide you 20 gram weights back).

Just order the cheap knockoff weights from eBay or wherever. They’re like $20 and tend to be closer to the stated weight than any Scotty weight I’ve ever put on the scale.

You can add lead tape or tungsten putty to the inside of the current weights.
