It's sequenced to his unique physical limitations and works - maybe he's said what his thoughts are FWIW, not to that guy, lol - just getting eyes on his account (and that's modern marketing, no issue there).

100%. Just thought it was a cool angle, slowed down so much. Especially to see how much left wrist extending + right wrist flexing, in the impact area

It is amazing to me so watch him slow or fast! And it would be interesting to hear what his thoughts/keys are.

It is a really interesting angle. It's about the same angle on the Milo Lines video intros, I've rewound and rewatched that intro so many times... It really hammers home the concept of handle up and left.

No comment on whether or not the tweet is correct, but to my untrained eye I hardly see rham pivoting anymore at all in this clip.

I had the same thoughts:

  • how low his hands are at P6 (start of the video) and how the club is on an inside path
  • how the kinematic sequence of hips, trunk, shoulders are all at a 'bracing' stage and it's arms / hands actions
  • how much the right wrist is flexing, rate of closure

Last two points seems to 'contradict' the hold it off, body only pivot, long face square to the target motion way of thinking. But to be fair, all of this is taking place in what, 0.2 seconds?

Cool angle. One thing I've increasingly embraced (not really @ OP or this thread but it's on my mind...) is just how unique everyone's swing is. I think it's important to understand and work toward (most of) the generally accepted principles, but everyone is so so different. Golfer X says he feels his right hand more, golfer Y says left hand. Etc. I'm very cautious of directly following what someone says they feel bc it's frequently not really the case. After getting fundamentals down, just listen to what the ball does and adjust from there. Kinda makes me think of "the flag is the destination, not the target"

So is 'comfortably numb to the forces and torques' a quote from Rham or the tweeter? Are they talking about the hands?

This is broom force for me. Get hands low in front of the right side, relax the wrists, turn left side out of the way and the club head whips through the bottom of the arc ('long square' to the arc and shallow)... Maybe add a little cast b during the turn, but mostly from this point it's the weight of the club head causing the hand action, just letting it go. So I could see how the energy from the pivot whipping the club around is what squares the club... this is where I'm at right now anyway, ask me again next week and it'll be something entirely different lol

The hands are along for a ride, nothing magical about the tweet at all, common knowledge from long ago.      No need to fiddle around with hands anywhere, they just hold the instrument.  Jackie Burke knows and is passing that information along for those listening.

I swung out from underneath myself, from the lower part of my body.   Byron Nelson

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
