Grip change, wait or ingrain now?

I've got a big golf trip in 2 weeks that I've been looking forward to all year. I've also been both pulling hooking my driver recently and decided to take a lesson today. My instructor wants me to change my grip, it feels very awkward currently. Should I keep my old grip and change it after the golf trip or will I be able to ingrain it in 2 weeks with lots of range time? I'm currently an 11 handicap and practice/play a lot.

Give it a shot. You didn’t go see the guy because you’re happy with things currently.

 

Grip changes aren’t that hard to get used to, and it’s really easy to go back to your comfortable grip in an emergency.
