Finding that I have a specific criteria for my putters lately

My first putter was a Nike method 004, so my eye has always been for a blade but my putting stroke is somewhat straight back and thru.

As my collection has grown, I've bought more double bended blades or those with long plumbers necks, mallets with plumbers necks, and toe weighted mallets.

All of which have that minimal toe flow sweet spot, around 20-30 degrees.

I find that Bettinardi does the minimal toe flow very well, and some Scotty Cameron mallets like GoLo do well too.

(I'm not a big fan of the flowneck designs with 45* toe flow)

But some of my recent purchases are more reminiscent of my first putter, in that they are blades with a double bend or single bend shaft.

Those two being the Toulon Chicago and the Scotty Cameron NP 2 Notchback.

Before those I was rotating between a couple mallets that were the Bettinardi SS 3 & Scotty Cameron Futura x5r.

I just bought a Scotty Cameron Red X5 that should be coming in the mail tomorrow. Being that it's a plumbers neck I might want to throw a stability shaft in it or something. (Can you put a stability shaft in a double bend designed putter?)

 

It feels as if my preferred putter is milled design with minimal toe flow and I'm always looking to add to my collection.

What are some of your favorite putters similar to these?

I have always liked that similar look but never could find exactly what i wanted from a feel perspective.  The bettinardi bb28 i think is the best looking double wide that feels firm and has 20 degrees of toe hang that I've tested in store

I have really similar preferences. I’m currently gaming a PLD custom Anser 30 and it’s working really well for me. 
 

You can definitely put a stability shaft on a double bend putter. Just send it to BGT and they cut the shaft above the bends and attach the carbon top portion.

I just put a KBS CT Tour in a new Golo 6 and turned into a counterbalanced ... Came out quite well.

I just started playing a couple years ago and so far I’ve found that I’ve determined plenty of putters that don’t work… still none that do. (No large mallets, skinny blades, double bends…)
