Bettinardi PVD Finish

Hello I wanted to get some opinions regarding a new Bettinardi BB28 putter just purchased from Bettinardi.  I noted that after removing the plastic on the putter head there were blemishes in which the PVD finish was not intact and the milling seems to be inconsistent across the middle of the putter face.  I have owned Bettinardi putters in the past SS9 and Ben Hogan putters which the workmanship was increadible.  The workmanship in this new BB-28 putter is subpar.  I have not gamed the putter and PVD finish appears to be suspect.  Just wanted to put this out there to see others opinions.  I have requested a refund from Bettinardi with no response.  Thanks.

Bettinardi has had some issues with PVD in the past, they do outsource it so hard to get perfect when you don't do it yourself. 

 

Hopefully they take the return/exchange, something minor and easy but Bettinardi seems to dig in their heels a bit on odd things.

Thanks for the response.  Yes I contacted Bettinardi and they are dragging their feet on this requesting multiple pictures and feedback from the production manager.  Will post updates as I receive them.  Should have just bought the putter from Dick's or Golf Galaxy as I would have been able to just return the putter and not have to go through the grief of getting a refund from Bettinardi.  IDK.

Just go back to Dicks then, let them deal with Bettinardi but they'll probably just throw it back on the shelf.
