Anyone using the SWG function on the SC300i ?

I am getting silly reading when doing Stack training, which results in 2x as many swings as the protocol.

Some of these bad readings seem to be backswings. Some are 179mph. A lot are 0.5 or exactly 28.5

The nature of the results tells me there are probably two issues going on.

Has anyone solved this with better user compliance or set up?

Before you ask, I DO swing faster than 0.5 mph and slower than 179mph 🤪

It's just not the best device for what you are trying to do. I don't think there is anyway to get the readings more accurate or more consistent.

The original swing speed radar is great, so are options like the prgr.

After it got installed with an update I tried the SWG function out on the SC300i as well and I get readings all over the place as well, some extremely high and others extremely low. I didn't buy it for the SWG mode so I just quit using it for that and figure that maybe it'll get fixed in future updates.

I have had the exact opposite experience, I find the swing speed to be extremely accurate and I'll get a misread maybe once every 40X or so. My favorite for measuring used to be the Garmin G80 but now I mainly use the Sc300i. I used to bring my Bushnell Launch pro and SC300i to the range and set them up together but the results were so close I decided to leave the Bushnell at home because it was rather large to be hauling everywhere.

I have had similar issues. With a ball on practice mode the max swing speed I have gotten is close to +-120mph but on SWG mode I can get it up to 134mph. I think SWG mode must be fast by 8-10%. Similar experience for you when you are swinging with a club?
