MP245 & MP241 - Combo set?

I noticed that the MP243 is RH only but the MP245 and MP241 are available in LH.

Has anyone tried a mixed set of 245's and 241's??

If so, did anyone weaken the lofts on the 245's or strengthen lofts on the 241's?

Just get the 245 all the way through - they're sick. Luke Donald has been a blade guy forever and just got this set 3 weak.

If I were to combo these, I’d carry both model’s 6 irons or both 7 irons, and not bother bending anything.

I am interested to try 245 throighout, but they aren’t all in the fitting cart. As such, I would still would go into a fitting intending to have at least a few one piece forgings in the scoring irons.

I’m left handed as well. I’m going to try a combo set of 245 4-5 iron and 223 6-gap. Have had the 223’s for a season and just got the 245’s in last night. I haven’t bent anything yet so we’ll see how it gaps and make adjustments from there. I can report back once I get them on course.

Interesting. The 245s in the lower irons have a healthy amount of bounce to begin with; what happens when they are bent weaker for Luke? Or are they just made that way so no bending needed? May be a novice question I realize. Been a Mizuno guy for 30 years.

Are the shorter irons in the 241 that hard to hit? looking at a used combo set.

They’d be bent weak. It’s possible they’ve ground some bounce off but I haven’t seen pictures.
