Driver 3W 7W Pairing

Hi,

 

I recently went for a fitting. My driver swing speed is around 95 mph. The recommendations I received were the Kaili White 60S and the Tour AD IZ 6S. I feel that these two shafts offer very different feelings, with the Kaili White being much stiffer, but somehow the results are good and similar. The IZ feels more natural, and given my swing speed, it seems I need this kind of high-trajectory shaft.

 

I also tried the Ventus Red and Blue but I really didn't like them. It's kind of hard to describe but it just felt uncomfortable, and the data wasn't good either.

 

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for other drivers, 3-woods, and 7-woods shafts I should try? I'm currently considering the following setup:

 

Driver: Tour AD IZ 6S
3W & 7W: Tour AD IZ 7S

Ah ok I was confused after reading the original post. 
 

If you like the IZ you could try AD DI also. I played the DI in the past (not in orange - GO DUCKS).

 

However for me the Ventus Red and Blue just can’t be beat in terms of ball speed and dispersion. 
 

Out of curiosity did you try any of the Ventus line in a regular flex?

My driver has a lower trajectory, so I think the IZ might be a suitable option, at least over Kaili White.

 

But not so sure about the 3W and 7W. Especially for the 7W, I might need a shaft with an even lower launch. So yes I should try out the DI, especially for fairway woods.

Based off my experience with Ventus since it came out it’s very smooth and stable. Red launches mid/high for me and hits my soon windows. Might be worth a shot and maybe even try the 50 gram weight in the driver in S & R and then 60 in S/R for your woods. I wouldn’t try the TR as they are the lower launching versions.

I would try for a 80g series in your 7w from a weight progression standpoint. 
 

I go Ventus black in driver. Tensei blue in 4w (HL 3) and mmt 80 in my apex uw (my 7w) and I have a good weight progression through out. YMMV

I love the apex. Had the OG super but 17 deg and was so hit and miss. In that slot used to have a sub70 18° hybrid but wasn’t my favorite.

Kai’li red S (70 g series) 7wd Stealth 2.

 

I had the IZ first and was going thru same process you are. They match up well for feel/timing and performance.

I end up with:

 

AI Smoke Max 10.5 deg w/ Blue Velocore+ 5R, 16.5 deg w/ Tour AD DI 6S, 21 deg w/ Velocore+ 6S
