Youngstown Clubs

Could anyone give me a rundown of the three private clubs in Youngstown? Tippecanoe, Youngstown CC, Lake Club. Thanks in advance.

I've played Lake Club and Tippecanoe. Both are nice. Tippy has a nicer, more challenging course overall. Both are generally well cared for and in good condition. Tippy has a shorter range, if I recall (can't hit driver), Lake has a very short range (no woods). Lake has a really nice pool complex and has put a ton of money into the outdoor/social spaces. Lake has a younger vibe too, probably because it's a good bit less to join. I played YCC once but it's been probably 25 years so I have no sense of what it's like now.

Awesome. Thanks. We visited Tippy and YCC last week. Leaning towards Tippy because of proximity to potential new home. But I LOVED the vibe of YCC. Lake Club is a no. Have been told very difficult to get tee times. Plus I prefer a harder course, and a Donald Ross at that.

Great, you're going to love the more challenging layout then. Plus the convenience factor is huge if you're on the Canfield side of town (I have family in Poland).
