Driving Iron Shaft same as Hybrid?

I got a whole bag fitting a few years ago. Could not hit a driving iron so did not get fit for that. Getting better at the game and now want to try some driving irons.

I got fitted for Fujikura vista pro 70 stiff for my hybrids and love the shaft. Should i start with that shaft or would best bet to get fitted for a DI. Any similar shafts?

Not looking to get “everything out of “ a driving iron and shaft, just looking for help with ease of hitting a DI and just have some fun.

I have different shafts in my hybrid and driving iron. Reason being that I launch the ball high with hybrid so I paired with a Ventus Black HB in order to keep launch/spin down. Driving iron launches lower and runs out so I went with the KBS hybrid proto whiich more mid/mid in order to optimize spin. It's a very individual thing though the so the Vista Pro could work or not in driving iron for you.

Agree with this. A hybrid and a driving iron are designed to do different things. As a starting point I would say to try something similar to your iron shafts for a driving iron, and something similar to your fairway wood shaft for a hybrid.

But if you want to really explore your options, you shouldn't stop there. For my driving iron I use a shaft with a different bend profile compared to both my irons and fairway wood.

I'm gonna go with team get fitted on this one.
