A Lunatic's Endeavor - Wild Loft/Lie Adjustments

What is a reasonable range of adjustment to get out of bending?  Would it be feasible to get -3 deg loft (target 0° loft) and +5 deg upright out of a long neck plumber head, or am I asking for trouble without a custom weld job?

 

For context, I am a lunatic who experiments with strange putting techniques.  My latest venture is into the idea of right-arm, or "reverse" armlock (aka Matt Kuchar style).  This is experimental and fun (for me). And yes, I did actually purchase the Pinhawk off the shelf putter as proof of concept, but I am not a fan for many reasons and if I am going to be customizing I want to start with a head I enjoy looking at.

It will depend on the putter and hosel, I would assume the loft is doable, but the lie would be borderline. If you're on YouTube you could try and message Ian Fraser from TXG Club Champion during a live Q&A. 

 

The PING PLD putters with hosels are ±4° with their lie adjustments, so +5° probably could be okay, from what I've seen milled putters can be quite bendy, but there's always some risk. 

 

I've seen videos of people bending older forged Callaway irons crazy amounts.

Are you doing the bending yourself or having a golf repair shop do it? If having someone else do it, assuming they agree to, you'll likely have to sign a waiver or agree that they aren't responsible for breakage or bending marks.

I'd be bringing it a tech, and no doubt the liability is on me for such a job.

 

At this point I'm leaning heavily towards having a neck welded on at the correct angle.  Hopefully I can find someone who can fab up a long neck with minimal offset.  In my testing, putting the ball slightly back of center feels just right, and the shaft lean is minimal.

 

I was exploring Evnroll's custom fab page today and seen you can order a long neck in specs pretty darn close, 1° loft, 75° lie.
