Sleeve not aligned to grip orientation

So I just had shaft installed to a different driver head but the sleeve isn't aligned with the grip orientation (the grip is in line with the shaft graphics). The club builder told me it's fine, but wouldn't this affect how the club line up? Should I get it redone?

Is it an alignment grip? One with a vertical ridge on the underside to help take your grip and align it in your hands? If so, yes you probably want to get it fixed.

If not, it depends on how much you depend on the grip markings to take your grip and setup the club. If you can ignore the grip markings and just take your grip based on the orientation of the head - then there isn't any big rush to "fix" it.

No effect on performance unless you have a super OCD complex lol

I would be more concerned if you have a ribbed or aligned grip and it was misaligned with the face angle of the head and not the shaft. If its a 360 style grip it is not as big of an issue.

But you did pay for a service that was not done correctly. However fixing that issue requires to pull out the adapter, clean it, prep it, and install it all over again so I understand the builder saying its fine.

Much simpler to just pull the grip and reinstall it.

Thanks Stuart. It's a standard grip, but I do use the markings to make sure my grip is always consistent. A neutral grip that follows the grip markings seems to be a tad weaker because of it.

I could always turn the grip a bit to get neutral. Not gonna lie, I've been thinking about it more than I should and it bothers me a bit. So I might have an OCD complex lol. I think I'll get it fixed before my next game.
