Question for Slicefixer and the rest of you Hogan experts

Hogan's upper right arm always connected?

It appears to me the Hogan's upper right arm was connected to his body at all times in his swing. Obviously it was connected in the backswing but it appears to me that it was always connected. Could it be that was part of the reason his head dropped so much in the downswing as well as why his hands were so low at impact?

Actually it "connects" just prior to impact and is connect through impact.....It's NOT connected during most of the swing (in MORAD tems, the 3 pressure right arm pressure points are only "connected" during impact).........the upper left "connects" just a nano second later and stays connected through impact........I use to feel and tell folks all the time, "both arms, from the elbows up, are "connected" through impact"........:)

I use to feel and tell folks all the time, "both arms, from the elbows up, are "connected" through impact"........:cheesy:

 

...one of the most important conditions for a "pivot guided impact" :) Not possible without an open body at impact, not possible with arms extended in front of the body at impact and not possible with a crossover release...

I am coming inevitably to the moment that I won't be able to help my kid any more, because my know-how is too shallow. I tried to prevent him from taking lessons from our "pros", since their knowledge is even smaller than mine, and I do not want to see my kid is stuffed with some Leadbetter poison...:black eye:

 

We had a vid session indoors (BTW, my new avatar is for you and your 9-3 drill ;) and we hope to have another one outdoors on Easter time - I've already decided that he shall follow your comments if you have not changed your mind and you are still willing to see his swing vids. I do hope you won't find a lot swing flaws in his swing caused by my "coaching"...:/
