Replacing TM adapter with Titleist adapter

Hi Experts out there: I was wondering what the playing length will be if I replace the TM adapter from a shaft that plays 45.75inches with TM head installed with a Titleist driver adapter? Thanks

Adapters with cogs (callaway/titleist) add 1/2 inch when coming from single piece adapters (tm, ping, cobra etc). Inverse your lose 1/2 inch

The adapter or even the OEM brand isn't the determining factor.  What you need to know is the BBGM of the specific head models you're switching between.  e.g. you can swap out between two different TM heads that use the same adapter and the playing length can change.  Same with many of the other OEM's.

 

That's why there is so much conflicting and misleading info out there on the subject.

Agree with Stuart.  Too much variation nowadays.  But I have swapped a shaft recently between a TSR3 and a Stealth/Qi10 and from what I remember, they played the same length.  There certainly wasn't 1/2" difference.  Now with my old M2, yes, it would play about 1/4 - 1/2" different.
