Pro V1 vs Pro V1x left dash

I’m looking at testing the above balls, and am looking for what other people’s feedback looks like. The titleist website doesn’t give much information on the comparison between the two, so I’m looking for better comparisons. I’m a + handicap with a high swing speed, I would be looking for someone similar to me. Thanks!

I am by no means a + handicap, but I did extensive ball testing this year for a change in order to play only one ball.  These two, for me, had the most noticeable difference in launch angle with all clubs, and feel.  Spin rate of the driver was similar, and even a bit lower with the Pro V1.  Pro V1 had a bit more greenside spin, but I also think I was more comfortable with it due to feel so I am sure that contributes.  The left dash is significantly firmer off of all clubs, but especially the putter which I didn't love. I am currently playing the standard Pro V1.

Was a 2, now around 4ish...  Can't say index has much to do with which of those balls is best.  It's more about feel and how each melds with your mechanics.  Years back I played ProV1, but didn't like the changes, so switched to ProV1x, played it until they changed that ball to be a high trajectory spinner, so a few years back I switched to DASH -ProV1x and been playing it ever since.

I have tested ProV1 a few times, found the low trajectory not to my liking.

DASH, of the lot, is the longest, trajectory fits my eye, and it spins nicely on the 10.5-12 greens I play.  I like ProV1x and AVX with irons, but both spin too much off the driver, so the new AVX is reserved for wind and weather.  The downside to DASH is it has the highest compression at 102 and is more noticeable off the driver and putter.

So the dash will go higher farther and spin less than the pro v1. Sounds great. Appreciate your time thankyou

Been using the left dash lately, usually a Pro V1 for summer golf, would love to dislike the left dash as they're hard to come by with deals, but it does a great job, only area of concern for me is short game, it can feel like a rock some times and i struggle to feel if i've hit it well, due to the high compression i guess, softer balls like the Pro V1 or AVX you get more feedback with, off the putter and driver i've not really felt a huge difference after using it for a few rounds, just the short game sometimes, it does throw you off a little if you get that harsh feedback and wonder if it wasn't a great strike, or just the feel of the ball.

I did hear they might be redoing it soon as it's not been tweaked in a while, it's does have a following though, and have to say i would have no qualms sticking with it over the Pro V1, i just have a few sleeves of Pro V1 as well so do use them now and again to see if there's any round to round differences, not noticed much though.

Being a plus handicap and a high swing speed might not have much of an influence on recommendation.  Club delivery is everything in determining the correct ball for you. The most frequent Left Dash user I knew has since switched to the TP5x"Star", while a large portion of players similar to us that I know play the Prov1- largely because they are available for free.

Personally I like the softer feel of the Prov1 more than the firmer feel of the Leftdash, with the ball control inside 130 yards being predictable and what I need it to be. The LeftDash was too clicky and unpredictable out of the rough from any distance and released inside 130 yards more inconsistently than the Prov1 does.

Yep, I bought a dozen today and tested it alongside my pro v1 and the first wedge shot I hit the first thing I said was clicky. I like the ball, but I can’t stomach the feel so the results have to be significant for me to switch
