Same shafts in wedges?

I hit the Project X 6.0 the best (swing speed with 6 iron was around 87). Did not hit comparable shafts from anyone else. If i get irons with 6.0 in them, should I do the same for my wedges?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! unles u want to have no feel or only hit full wedges. Very firm believer in playing shafts that are at least 1 flex lighter than the shafts in your wedges. Just think about it. How often do you hit a full wedge shot during the course of a round? playing a softer shaft in your wedges allows you to hit partial shots and still have sufficient spin. All a spinner shaft is is the same shaft with a more active tip section, basically so people with big egos can stay with the same flex through out the whole set.

I agree i went Black Gold "X" 3-pw and 52* Wedge and a Stiff in my 58* simply because i normally won't be hitting it with a full swing.

True Temper "wedge" shafts and Rifle "spinner" shafts are two of the worst golf equipment concepts ever born.

agree that the rifle spinner and the wedge flex shaft are both very bad shafts....................but would dtill warn against playing 6.0 projet x in your lob wedge. %2* yes because they are mostly full shots with that, but liek i said how many time do you actally swing full @ a lob wedge. And to think people wonder why they cant spin the ball like the pros, this has something to do with it.

Woah, hang on..........have to clear up some mis-information posted here. There is no such thing as Dynamic Gold "wedge flex" shafts. The label on the club says that, but that's just simple OEM marketing decisions..........but they are Dynamic Gold S200, S300, or S400's depending on the OEM. Which by the way, are the most commonly used wedge shafts on tour, can't be that bad :good: (S300 & S400 that is)

just refering to my experience with them. The wedge shafts that come standard with wedges i feel are all to stiff. i know there is no difference didnt mean to "create" a new shaft haha

The Dynamic Gold "wedge shaft" is nothing at all like a Dynamic Gold S300.

The wedge shaft is a flexible soft shaft, senior flex, weaker than a r flex.

Royal Precision first came out with the "spinner", a very soft Rifle shaft. Then True Temper made the mistake of copying Royal Precision Rifle.

i was told it was just an s200 and thats how i thought it played

Infact if you peel back the shaft band that says "wedge" and look under it, it will often read S2,3,or 4. I've seen it many times because I take all the bands off my sticks.

this is just making my point. In answering the orignal posters question, i would go with a weak flex shaft. If the "wedge flex" shaft is the most played on tour and they are all playing x100's and stuff like that, why would someone who is playing s300's play the same wedge shaft as them. IMO it doesnt make sence to me that all these company put the stiff shafts in their wedges.

i've just ordered some new scratch wedges, and i use S300 in my irons. Which shaft should i be using for my 56 and 60 because i've ordered s300. Would s200 be the go??

Once again......incorrect. Please take the grip off, and as long as the silk-screened part number is still in tact, you will see the part number telling what the shaft really is. A "wedge" shaft is NOT a wedge shaft, it is an R200, R300, R400, S200, S300, S400, X100, etc., etc., etc.......... it is a Dynamic Gold of some flex designation that a generic "wedge flex" designation is stuck onto.
